Oriental foods wholesaler SeeWoo chooses Mercedes-Benz e-sprinter for London deliveries
The SeeWoo Group is a leading retailer, wholesaler, and distributor of Oriental foods and runs a supermarket in the heart of Chinatown in London.
The company will use the e-sprinter to deliver goods to Chinese restaurants across London, making it eligible for a 100% discount on the Capital’s Congestion Charge.
The vehicle has been supplied by Hexagon Leasing on a one-year contract hire agreement.
Steve Johnson, Head of Sales at Hexagon Leasing said: “It’s the perfect van for operating in London. It’s fully electric, cheaper to run and is exempt from the Congestion Charge and the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone fees. It also offers plenty of space, is easy to charge and extremely efficient for urban logistics.”
The Mercedes e-sprinter van produces no CO2 or NOx emissions and offers a range of 82-95 miles plus the option of rapid charging which can charge the battery 0-80% in 30-120 minutes.
